TRAVEL PLAN

DAY 1: Reception 11:00 in Catamarca terminal
or 13:30 at the airport. The final destination of the day is Fiambalá. We take the Quebrada de la Cébila having a light lunch on board. We arrived at Tinogasta to start down the path of Adobe (historic chapels set retrieved and put in value over 50 km between Tinogasta and Fiambalá). Once in Fiambalá we settled in the town hostel. Free time to explore the town before or after dinner. Night in Fiambala. (300 km)

Day 2: After breakfast leave the lodge
we will cross 12 km to visit and enjoy the amazing hot springs of Fiambalá, located on a staggered basis at the foot of the mountain with panoramic views across the valley. pic nic
at the baths and back to town to complete the Adobe Route visit with the Church of San Pedro (St. Peter) and the Command of Arms. If time permits can also visit some wineries. In the afternoon we travel, we take Route 40 and arrived at Bethlehem. We settled on the Belen Hotel. Free time to explore the town before or after dinner. Night in Belen. (200 km)

Day 3: After breakfast and will go through the Quebrada de Belen following Route 40 to the shaft. Here we deviate from the "40" and the "civilized world", which added to the unique scenery of the Puna of Catamarca introduces us to a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Antofagasta de la Sierra will be our destination at the end of the day and our main goal of the trip.
We will make a small detour to visit the Laguna Blanca Biosphere Reserve where we can have a light lunch. We continued our journey and travel intensity grows every km. Colors Volcanoes, lava fields, nature and vicuña reserves everywhere. (The rest of the days in the highlands keep more secrets yet!) will reach Antofagasta with the reception of the lagoon and volcano Antofagasta. We settled on the local hostelry, rested a while to acclimate to the altitude and prepare for dinner. Night at Antofagasta. (300 km)

Day 4: breakfast and we transfer to the Pucara of Antofagasta to make a low difficulty trekking. Lunch in the village. In the afternoon we will visit clubs with pictograph where we can get on and make a short trekking above las vegas with wonderful panoramic views. Return to town, visit the Museo de Sitio with Incan mummies. Dinner and overnight at Antofagasta. (40 km)

Day 5: Breakfast and free day to enjoy the village life so different from what we know and are accustomed. For the more adventuresome we offer an optional excursion which is a real circuit 4 × 4 that has nothing to envy the "Dakar Rally". It comes Salar de Antofalla and namesake town. It is a full day of 220 km with hard roads you will be rewarded with unique landscapes. Other options are the Salar del Hombre Muerto and Galán Volcano. The first has less diversity of landscapes that Antofalla. The second is 340 km very hard and high altitude in one day, and there are no superseders landscapes regarding Antofalla more than the lagoon Diamond which is located inside the crater. For this reason our suggestion is Antofalla. Dinner and overnight in Antofagasta. (optional 220 km)

Day 6: We had breakfast and bid farewell to Antofagasta surely transformed by the magic of this place so isolated and special. But we have much to see and explore. Back to Belen we will hike in light trucks 4 × 4 to Pumice Stone Field with amazing landscapes. From there we headed to the village of El Peñón where we meet with our minibus to continue the journey to Belen. Time to visit looms and handicrafts. Dinner and overnight in Belen. (330 km)

Day 7: have breakfast and go to visit London, the second city founded in Argentina in 1558, today a small quaint town with the great appeal of the Inca ruins of El Shincal, incredibly unknown until recently. At noon we will take a picnic lunch in the site and started our way back to Catamarca, arriving around 17 pm for those who take the bus to 18:00 or 19:00. End of services. Those who return by plane the next day should do SFVC night. (300 km)

Day 8: (only for those who will make night in Catamarca 7-4). Breakfast, check out hotel, transfer to the airport on behalf of the passengers.
