A journey through the foot of the Nevado de Chañi (5994 mts.)
A mountain expedition is not just to get the backpack and walk ... is setting goals, planning sessions, monitoring food and endless details that make it possible to meet the "objective". Our journey begins in the outskirts of Salta, where, step by step, the roads become traces that go deep into the mountain, eventually appears in the distance some timid resident and where the thatched adobe stores are common. The road goes under the shadow of the imposing summit Chañi (5994 m.), Boundary between the provinces of Salta and Jujuy from where we will start the descent towards the famous Quebrada de Humahuaca. Ask for a summit ascent option (Nevado de Chañi), with three days added.
