CLIMBING COURSE

Our Basic Courses are an invitation to enjoy Climbing while picking up the techniques needed to move efficiently and safely. Training is necessary and fundamental, since this is an activity or sport that carries risk; it will allow you to enjoy the activity both on an artificial wall and out in nature.

Over the course of the class, each student will learn to recognize and tell apart safe from unsafe situations; as well as correctly using the different climbing-progression techniques and, above all, learning to climb responsibly and safely.

This course is aimed at people who want to start climbing and have no prior experience. The course takes place on an artificial wall, where the classes will teach the maneuvers and techniques needed to climb. To wrap up the course there will be an optional practical outing to the mountains, where all the content learned during the practical course can be put to use.

What happens if the trip is suspended due to bad weather or other force majeure?

At AEX, the safety of our travelers and guides comes first. Activities are only suspended or modified when weather, political or geographic conditions put the expedition at risk. The decision rests exclusively with the guide team and technical direction, based on official reports (National Weather Service, National Parks or local authorities).

If the trip is suspended, do I lose what I paid?

No. The amount paid becomes a Credit in your favor (Weather Voucher) valid for 18 months from the suspended date: up to 6 months to choose a new date plus 12 months to take part.
