An astounding biodiversity. One of the largest wetlands, which gives us the opportunity to actively enjoy nature. The experience brings us closer to understand the environment in groups with several activities. A walk along trails through varied vegetation and geography, a horseback riding on the endless steppes between estuaries, a navigation watching alligators and numerous birds, a spectacular dive to the estuaries, a typical barbecue in a starry night...
The experience of a world that does not compare to anything, where nature expresses the most precious secrets.
Workshop on photographic composition. Upon returning we gather to watch and evaluate the obtained material.

Itinerary:
What we present here is the course planned for the trip, but the exact route, the duration of each stage of progress and the choice of alternative routes are subject to various factors such as weather and group evaluation.

Day 1 Arrival in Mercedes at 7,7.30 am. Transfer to Colonia Pellegrini, Esteros de Ibera base. We settled into the accommodation. Photography workshop. Lunch. In the afternoon we will go into the marshes with a boat to get great sightings of alligators and numerous species of birds that live in the vast wetland. Free time. Dinner

Day 2: Breakfast.Trekking guided by the jungle in to observe carayá monkeys, corzuelas and capybaras. We will visit the Interpretation Center.Afternoon: Boat excursion by the Iberia lagoon and arroyo Corriente. Di nner. Night trekking by the jungle for observation of corzuelas, deer, capybaras, tatús, vizcachas, aguara popés, foxes and zorrinos.

Day 3 : Breakfast. Horsebackriding bordering the Iberá lagoon. Excellent bird observation . Lunch. In the afternoon, we will take our transfer back to Mercedes. End of our services.

Private car transfers to and from Mercedes, hostel accommodation, full board from lunch on Day 2 to lunch on Day 4.All excursions mentioned in program: 2 embarked trips, 1 horseback riding and 1 trekking interpretation. Local guides, coordination and advice.

Note

Specifications: double and triple rooms with private or shared bathrooms. There is also an option in cabins. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served at the accommodation. For single room , please ask. The trip will be coordinated by one of our staff on a permanent basis from Buenos Aires.

Que no sean personas sedentarias o que, si lo son, entrenen hasta la fecha de la salida. El entrenamiento, en cualquiera de sus modalidades, funciona muy bien.
Que sepan que van a dormir en un hostal con servicios y comodidades básicas.

¿Qué se come?

En estos programas almorzamos en las excursiones, en sistema vianda o sandwiches, tartas, empanadas. Las cenas son en un comedor-restaurant del pueblo. Desayunos en el alojamiento.

¿Llevo un bolso, mochila grande o chica?

Cada uno debe llevar su equipaje personal en un bolso o mochila grande para dejar en el alojamiento. Durante las excursiones conviene llevar una mochila pequeña para llevar el agua, protector solar, abrigo, etc.

What happens if the trip is suspended due to bad weather or other force majeure?

At AEX, the safety of our travelers and guides comes first. Activities are only suspended or modified when weather, political or geographic conditions put the expedition at risk. The decision rests exclusively with the guide team and technical direction, based on official reports (National Weather Service, National Parks or local authorities).

If the trip is suspended, do I lose what I paid?

No. The amount paid becomes a Credit in your favor (Weather Voucher) valid for 18 months from the suspended date: up to 6 months to choose a new date plus 12 months to take part. You can use it for the same expedition or any of our other destinations and experiences, and if you cannot use it within that period you can transfer it to someone else.
