Northwest of the province of Neuquén the region of Copahue and Caviahue represents one of the most special paradise for mountain lovers, both in summer and winter. The height above sea level (1600), the preferential location at the base of the legendary Volcan thermal Copahue and aroma, make of this place a magical world. The snow accumulates over several months and invites the absolute enjoyment of winter sports. We propose a multi-day adventure for both exclusive ski and snowboard lovers and those who want to perform diverse activities, always based on a warm shelter-mountain hostel.

Day 1 (Sunday): Meeting and reception of group housing, Caviahue. We take something warm and went for a walk through the town and enjoy the unique nature of the place, to acclimatise.

Day 2 (Monday): Breakfast. We depart for our day's hike, snowshoe. The idea is to trace the seven Agrio Cascades to the boundary stone which lies to the south of the volcano. If conditions allow us we will have lunch on the way and get back in the afternoon. We will have time to explore the shores of the lake almost frozen.

Day 4 (Wednesday) Breakfast. Excursion with skiing, a technique challenging and slightly performed through the surroundings of the lake. We propose a morning tour, return to Caviahue and make a different one in the afternoon. Depending on the characteristics of the group we will make a visit to the natural hot springs, a trip cross-country skiing that will sue us round trip, all day.

Day 5 (Thursday) Breakfast. The excursion proposal is drawn sleigh mountain dogs. A tour of the area, lake, araucaria forest, hidden waterfall and elsewhere. We know the dog farm and spend time with them for a few hours. In the afternoon, free to those who want to visit the ski center. For those who wish may take the full day on the mountain skiing. Proposal unforgettable night: snowshoe trekking to Laguna Escondida.

Day 6 (Friday) Breakfast. The scheduled excursion of the day is into a giant caterpillar to Copahue town that remains hidden under the snow during the winter. We entered a shelter, take something warm and had lunch. We enjoyed the magic of Copahue and returned in the evening.

Day 7 (Saturday) Breakfast. End of program or day off. Return by bus to Neuquen and then to the place of origin of each. 

NOTE: Check to extend with another week in ski-week.

Everyday activities, optional (requesting shift): Spa services - mud, thermal baths, massage, etc.

Ski or snowboard week: Monday to Friday, will be five days of days skiing, with lifts passes, ski equipment and transportation included. Check by type and price of the entire program.

IMPORTANT: All programming can be modified depending on what you want each passenger; take trips, add other scenes. The budget will be adjusted based on these details. Ask for all possibilities.

Note

All activities are subject to weather conditions. Normally with windless snowfall can perform all activities. When strong wind adds complicate things and seek alternatives.
