The seventh (7) of those 13 is the Llullaillaco Volcano, the highest Inca sanctuary, at 6739 masl, a majestic mass that rises in the west of Salta province, in the Andes Mountains that borders Chile.
In 1999, in an organized archaeological expedition, they found very close to the summit, two Inca mummies that today are displayed in the high mountain museum of Salta city.
