Day 1: We leave Malargue city towards Valle Hermoso(100kms away from the city), where we will begin the navigation of the Rio Grande in inflatable raft (rafting). Arriving Valle Hermoso we proceed to deliver the equipment to every passenger and we set up the rafts . Later, we will have a safety talk and about 1 p.m. we start the navigation, from the joint of rivers Tordillo and Cobre which form Rio Grande , up to the zone known as ¨la estreches del cura ¨ where Rio Grande is closed in a canyon of big walls. After this first part , we will have a slight lunch and we will keep paddling a couple of hours. On this day we will navigate the ¨Cajón de los Oscuros ¨ up to Noble Valley, where we will camp on the banks of the Rio Grande, with mates, coffee and tea; we will talk about the rapids of the first day :grades II, III and some IVth. Dinner:asado and roasted vegetables . Time of navigation on day 1: 3 hours.
Day 2: Breakfast and about 11 a.m. we return to the river. On the side of Noble Valley the river changes direction and dyes because of its tributaries that enter from this Valley where we will find many birds, ducks and goats. Rapids are softer that ones on the first day.
After the first hour and a half of navigation we find a good place to have lunch , to rest and to enjoy the local sight. We embark for other three hours up to the second camp. Again we prepare the place, look for fuelwood, while we have a snack. This second night the dinner will be a rice stew.
Day 3: The last day of the journey is the shorttest on navigation. Once we have breakfast, we will sail a few hours up to the end of the expedition. Rapids are more remote one from the other and we continue finding birds and also volcanic ashes, which seem to be sandy dunes. End of the journey.
