Proposal

A tour sailing the waterways the fabulous Piray Iguazu River, to venture into natural areas and have the possibility of seeing native wildlife: monkeys, alligators, lizards speckled, capybaras, corzuelas and many varieties of birds can stand in our path. This vast region of beautiful rivers and mountains and small coastal communities, offers the experience of sailing in a canoe and move forward, discovering the flora, fauna and the secrets of a region not well known and very interesting.

MODALITY
Journey canoes
Canadian type, sit on top (for 2 or 3 people each). Navigation is downstream and requires no previous experience. Overnight in tents in camp-grounds (without the comforts of a conventional camping) on riverbanks routes.

SCHEDULE
What we present here is the planned route for the crossing, but the exact route, the duration of each stage of travel and choice of alternative routes are subject to various factors such as weather conditions and group assessment by the guide.

Day 1: around 19 pm. Bus departure from Buenos Aires to Wanda, Misiones.

Day 2: About noon we reached our destination. Transfer to the banks of the San Antonio River natural border with Brazil (after passing through the village of Andresito for recent purchases) Presentation, safety standards and practice with the boats. At night, camp-fire and welcome dinner.

Day 3: In the morning, after breakfast, we break camp and start sailing downstream by the San Antonio River. After a few hours, we reached the confluence with the great Iguazu River. Landing and lunch. Relax and photos, all in an amazing part: this place is called "The two borders" where we will observe the "do Iguazu National Park" on the right bank of the river and also the boundary stone which marks the eastern boundary between Argentina and Brazil. After the break we follow Iguazú river to the creek San Francisco, rather than our next camp.
Paddling time: 5 hours. approx. Distance travelled: 20 km. approx.

Day 4: Had breakfast and carry out the preparations for a new day of adventure. Always downstream of the Iguazu River, the natural border between Argentina and Brazil. Shortly after leaving, we make an interesting stop on "Isla del Sol" an amazing place, full of nature, where can walk and see native wildlife. Our tour continues until reaching the beautiful camp Cantera. Landing, assembly camp-site and dinner preparations. Camp-fire. Paddling time: 6 hrs. approx. Distance travelled: 30 km. approx.

Day 5: After breakfast, we will disarm campsite and depart to Andresito, then to Wanda to board the bus that takes us to Buenos Aires

Day 6: 08:00 am about arrival in Buenos Aires.

Note
