Introducing the most accessible route to learn about America and Western Hemisphere high giant in just 3 days.
An adventure on foot until the 4200 MASML of mount Aconcagua, just at the base of one of the most impressive walls on Earth , almost 3000 meters of slope
Recommended: Arrive a day before and stay overnight at Puente del Inca, to spend the night at 2800 meters and to facilitate acclimatization to the height.
Day 1: 9 am. We travel by charter from the city of Mendoza to Puente del Inca and from there to Horcones, the entrance to the Aconcagua Provincial Park.
Through the Valley of the Horcones River, we enter the path of the normal route of ascent and we start the walk. We cross the suspension bridge over the river and after 5 hours approximately we will reach the camp of Confluencia (3350 MASML). Lunch. Through this camp passes all those who continue to Plaza de Mulas to try to climb to the Summit. Rest, hydration. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2:Breakfast. We start almost weightless towards to Plaza Francia. A path that ascends gradually leads us to one of the most moving viewpoints. The imposing view of the wall South of Aconcagua almost 3000 meters of altitude leaves us speechless. Light lunch. After the photographs and the resting time we leave Plaza Francia. Return and descent into Confluencia. Farewell dinner at the mountain. Overnight.
Day 3: We wake up, have breakfast and enjoy the last few minutes in the camp. Descent to Horcones. Lunch and transfer back by Route 7 (through Puente del Inca, Penitentes, Punta de Vacas, Uspallata, Potrerillos-vista Cordon del Plata; same route we took at the beginning of the journey) to the city of Mendoza. Buses leave at 6 pm. to different parts of the country.
End of our services.
Medium difficulty trekking program. The height can be felt. We recommend staying a night in Penitentes or Puente del Inca and drink water in quantity and quality during the 3 days prior to the tour.
